Congratulations to the CCB’s Prof Greg Goodall who has been elected a Fellow of the prestigious Australian Academy of Science! Greg is one of 21 leading scientists that have been acknowledged today for their outstanding contributions to science. His research focuses on the understanding of mechanisms governing gene activity in cancer, through control of mRNA activity, regulation of gene expression by microRNAs, and most recently his discovery of the regulation of circular RNAs. These breakthroughs have widespread implications for understanding gene regulation in biology, particularly in immunity and cancer.
