Scientific Advisory Board

The Centre for Cancer Biology has invited fellow experts from other national peak cancer research bodies to establish the first CCB Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) to provide expert advice on the CCB’s strategic framework and scientific direction, assess and benchmark CCB’s performance and research strategies and identify opportunities and impediments in the medical research landscape.

They include Professor Ian Frazer A.C., from the Diamantina Institute at the University of Queensland, who has been appointed to Chair the new board.

The other board members are Professor Michelle Haber A.M., Executive Director of the Children’s Cancer Institute, Sydney; Professor Joe Trapani, Executive Director of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne; Professor Brendan Crabb A.C., Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Burnet Institute, Melbourne and Professor Christina Mitchell, Dean of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University.
